Polyanionic polymers (PAC) have a long tradition of multi-functional use in the deep-well drilling industry and Dow Wolff Cellulosics has played a part in this for a long time, too.
The required rheological profile of drilling fluids used when drilling for oil, gas and water can be regulated precisely using cellulose-based polyanionic polymers. Antisol® FL reduces filtrate and fluid loss and stabilises the formation thanks to its shale inhibiting action. Its various properties enable bore holes to accurately retain their required diameter, hence supporting drilling progress.
